Scientific Software Executive, Rusty Irving joins Dotmatics as Vice President, Head of North American Operations

Rusty brings two decades of extensive scientific background and significant experience in building successful global sales teams at organisations including BIOVIA (formerly Accelrys), CambridgeSoft Corporation, and most recently PerkinElmer Informatics. The Dotmatics Platform is now the most complete informatics product suite for scientific organisations. The rapid uptake of Dotmatics’ solutions, including a querying and data management suite, a fully web-based Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN), and a ground-breaking visualisation tool, has necessitated the appointment of Executive Leadership in this key North American market.

As Vice President, Global Sales at PerkinElmer, Rusty Irving ran the Informatics Sales organisation in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific, and served on the executive management team. As the Dotmatics innovative enterprise business continues to grow and thrive in the Life Sciences and Chemical markets, as well as Food and Beverage, Oil and Gas, Engineering, Consumer Products and Agrochemicals, Rusty Irving will oversee the expansion and running of the commercial and customer facing teams in North America.
